In 2017 David Zulman and Martyn O'Dare, who both have a long history in chocolate business, teamed up with Aidan Bishop to launch their own project called Firetree Chocolate. Small batches of single-origin cocoa beans, coming from remote islands mostly located on the Pacific Ring of Fire, are transformed into exquisite bars. The name Firetree Chocolate makes perfect sense regarding their volcanic origins and the fact, that a cocoa tree hanging full with bright red, orange and yellow pods might resemble a tree on fire from afar. All their chocolates are free from nuts and lactose. Also they are halal, kosher and vegan.
