Monica and Tom Rogan became aware of excellent chocolate in a vintage shop in St Monica and soon began experimenting in their own kitchen. Monica was in real-estate-development back then and Tom worked in a TV production company. In 2016 they transformed their beloved hobby into their passionate work. Ethically sourced,single origin”true to the bean” multiple-awards-winning chocolates come from their work-shop integrated in their historical farmhouse in Massachusetts/Sudbury. They press and then use the cacao-butter made from the same beans they use to create the bars for extra smoothness and enhanced flavours. Very special and high awards have also been given to their Esmeralda-bars : cacao-nibs are being steeped in whiskey for several days before being handled with great care.
