Monica and Tom Rogan became aware of excellent chocolate in a vintage furniture shop in St. Monica and soon began experimenting in their own kitchen. Monica was in real-estate-development back then and Tom worked in a TV production company. In 2016 they transformed their beloved hobby into their passionate work.
Ethically sourced, single origin”true to the bean” multiple-award-winning chocolates come from their workshop integrated in their historical farmhouse in Massachusetts/ Sudbury. They press cocoa-butter from the same cocoa varieties they create the bars of and add it to the cocoa mass for extra smoothness and enhanced single origin flavour. Very special and high awards have been given to their Special Reserve bars: cacao-nibs are being steeped in whiskey, rum or cold brew coffee for several days before they are carefully transformed into bars with a rarely known plethora of flavours.
